Powered by Enterprise Storage Area Networks, the Nodes have no local storage of any kind, allowing us to ensure all data, configuration and settings are maintained even in the unlikely event of the node physically failing. With 146GB 15Krpm FC Drives, Multiple controllers and storage virtualisation, maximum performance and redundancy are maintained.
The entire grid runs the world-leading VMware virtualisation platform. Allowing executing of multiple operating systems (including full Microsoft compatibility) VMware offers a wide range of Enterprise features coupled with unbeatable maturity and stability.
Network & Security
Every node is uplinked redundantly to two, fully redundant Cisco 6500 series switches, which provide backplane connectivity between Blade Chassis and uplink to the core transit networks. With Cisco ASA firewalls, VPN terminators, Load balancers and a range of monitoring and analysis systems in a full N+N configuration, we can offer carrier grade network services.
